- This is the perfect nesting box for the Blue Tit, Great Tit, Crested Tit, Marsh Tit, Willow Tit and Coal Tit and will help conserve their population.
- It will provide a safe place for the tits to rest, nest and shelter from the wet and the cold.
- It is in the shape of a wigwam and is made from 100% FSC certified pinewood.
- Fix to a tree or wall at a height between 2 to 4 metres (6-13 feet) in or near trees or shrubs.
- There needs to be an unhindered flight path for the bird.
- Do not place in direct sunlight and ensure that it is angled away from prevailing rain or winds (face between north to east).
- Tilt the box slightly forward so that any driving rain will hit the roof and bounce off.
- Empty and clean the box in the autumn using a 10% water and bleach solution to kill mites and parasites.
